Several misunderstandings about buying stainless steel water cups
I just participated in the water cup knowledge sharing salon. At the sharing session, I deeply felt some purchasing errors common to users who buy stainless steel vacuum flasks.
The following points are summarized:
1.The higher the insulation performance of stainless steel, the better the quality.
Buying a stainless steel vacuum flask does not mean that the more insulation the better, it can only be said that the insulation performance is excellent, but it does not mean that it is a good vacuum flask. The daily purchase of thermos cups should be based on your own living habits and working environment, and at the same time, consider the function and structure of insulation. If you just blindly pursue the heat preservation effect, you will be unable to drink because the water temperature is too high when you are very thirsty and need to drink.
2.The heavier the thermos, the better the quality.
Some customers always think that the heavy one is good when choosing a vacuum flask, and the light one is not good. Water cups with different weights are only the reason for the thickness of the material. It does not mean that the thick and heavy is a good water bottle. It depends on the workmanship and performance of the water bottle.
3.The stainless steel water cup is not a good material if it is not marked with a material mark.
Many customers have such a misunderstanding, thinking that the 304 mark on the bottom means that the water cup is made of 304 stainless steel.
First of all, there is no authoritative organization that requires that the real material level must be indicated on the material when the water cup is produced, and the material must be expressed in the way of processing.
Secondly, there is no internationally regulated identification and identification of 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel. You can look for a few more water cups with marked material grades to observe, and you will find that the logos are different. What does this mean? It is just a means for the factory to increase the selling point of its own products, that is to say, the 304 or 316 logo just marked is just a factory processing behavior, and it does not mean that the material is really 304 or 316.
Even though some bad manufacturers use 316 stainless steel at the bottom of the water cup, only the bottom part is made of 316 stainless steel, and the other parts are faked with 201 stainless steel. Consumers can look at the other party's material certificate and the inspection certificate of the national authority on product quality when buying the water cup, and don't be confused by a random logo.
4.The production of vacuum flask is very simple, the mold can be modified at will, and the mold cost is very low
During the sharing session, many customers who asked similar questions were received every day. The thermos cup is small in size and looks simple in appearance, but it does not mean that the processing and production of the thermos cup is simple.
Usually, there are less than 20 production processes for a vacuum flask with unique design and exquisite workmanship, and even more than 60 processes. The more work, the more complicated the production and the harder it is to change the production requirements. It also shows that the more processes, the more molds that need to be developed, and the higher the development cost. Insulation cups cost from simple to complex molds ranging from tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands or even millions.
